Best FiveM scripts for roleplay servers by area
A FiveM roleplay server on ESX, QBCore or Qbox runs a free framework and inventory first, then one script per area players spend time in: police, EMS, MDT, dispatch, jail, evidence, crime, housing and jobs. Choose each script by four things: it supports your framework, it supports your inventory and target, it hands work to the scripts you already run, and its editable files let you connect what it does not. Each area’s section gives the checks, the free default and our script.
What to compare
| Check | Why it changes the choice |
|---|---|
| Framework | A script reads characters, jobs and money from your framework. An ESX script does not run on QBCore unless it supports both. |
| Inventory and target | Items a script hands out must exist in your inventory, and its interactions open through your target or its own prompts. |
| Links to your other scripts | Police work moves between scripts: the dispatch alert, the MDT record, the fine, the jail sentence. Each script should call the next one you run. |
| Editable files | An escrowed script hides its core code. Check which files stay open, so you can wire in your vehicle keys, billing or phone. |
| Updates and support | Check the last update date and where questions get answered before you buy. |
Our scripts are protected by Cfx.re Asset Escrow. The config files and editable files are open for you to change, and on the newer scripts that includes all framework-specific functions and events.
Framework and core
The framework is free and comes first, because every other script must support it. ESX, QBCore and Qbox each ship their own free job, housing and crime resources, named in each area of this guide. If you have not picked one, read how ESX, QBCore and Qbox differ.
- Qbox:
qbx_core1.24.0 depends on ox_lib and oxmysql, and the Qbox txAdmin recipe also installs ox_inventory and ox_target. - QBCore: its FiveM resources sit in the
qbcore-fivemGitHub organisation, and links to the oldqbcore-frameworkrepositories open there (checked 19 October 2026). - ESX: the job and property resources sit in the ESX-Legacy-Addons repository.
Every one of our scripts in this guide supports ESX, QBCore and Qbox. On another framework, the framework files are editable and the setup is yours.
Inventory and target
Pick one inventory and one target and make every script use them. Two inventories on one server means items that exist in one and not the other.
Free default: ox_inventory with ox_target and ox_lib, from Overextended. The ox_inventory docs list ox, esx, qbx and nd as supported frameworks; QBCore is not on that list, and QBCore ships its own qb-inventory and qb-target.
In most of our scripts, the first lines of config set Config and Config. Support as each product page lists it; every script here except All-in-one MDT V2 and Dispatch System also supports qs-inventory:

Police job
A good police job:
- cuffs, searches, escorts and fines from one menu, through your target;
- hands an arrest to your jail and a fine to your billing without a second command;
- runs several stations, each with storage, wardrobe, garage and boss menu;
- gives patrol vehicles keys through your key script.
Free default: esx_policejob, qb-policejob or qbx_police. On QBCore, qb-policejob also carries the framework’s evidence system.
Our script: Advanced Police Job. Officers soft or hard cuff, search, drag and seat suspects from the F6 menu, and fine them by category or with a custom fine. Patrols get a vehicle radar, bodycams that others watch live at the station, dashcams, spike strips and speed cameras. You set as many stations as you want, and each can have a shop, storage, evidence lockers, wardrobe, boss menu, duty point, garage and mechanic. Its jail action hands the sentence to Advanced Jail System V2, and its boss menu can open Advanced Boss Menu V2, each sold separately.
Limit: if officers get no keys for garage or impound vehicles, add your key script’s export to SpawnedGarageVehicle and SpawnedImpoundVehicle in client/ or server/.
EMS and ambulance job
A good EMS script:
- treats injuries by type, with items that exist in your inventory;
- lets EMS revive downed players, with a hospital respawn when nobody comes;
- revives through an NPC medic when no EMS are online;
- tells your other scripts who is down.
Free default: esx_ambulancejob, qb-ambulancejob, or qbx_ambulancejob with qbx_medical.
Our script: Advanced Ambulance Job. Medics see health, injuries and bullets for every body part, in a menu or a camera layout, and treat each injury by type and severity with items such as bandages, tourniquets, braces, burn gel and a surgical kit. Injuries apply debuffs such as slower movement, aim shake or bleeding. A downed player enters last stand, crawls and bleeds out on your timer; CPR, a defibrillator or adrenaline revives them, each with its own success chance. Hospital beds heal over time, and a medic NPC revives players while 2 or fewer EMS are online. With Realistic Evidence System V2 installed, removing a bullet gives a fragment police can analyse.
Limit: the stretcher and wheelchair models are a separate download, linked in the README.
MDT and police records
A good MDT reads characters and vehicles from your framework, shows your dispatch calls on its map, sends a sentence to your jail and a fine to your billing, and sets permissions by job and grade.
Free default: none. The ESX addon set, the QBCore resources and the Qbox recipe include no MDT.
Our script: All-in-one MDT V2. You create as many MDTs as you want, for police, sheriff, EMS, DOJ or mechanics, each with its own pages and jobs. Read, write and delete rights are set per page and action, in game or in the config. Each charge has a minimum and maximum fine and sentence. With Config and Config, it links to Dispatch System and Advanced Jail System V2.
Limit: fining does nothing until you add your billing script’s export to FinePlayer in client/. The full checklist is in what an MDT does and how to choose one.
Dispatch
Dispatch needs a live map of calls and units for police, EMS and other jobs, the caller’s location, vehicle and weapon in each alert, and a way to take the alerts your crime scripts already send.
Free default: none in the three framework sets.
Our script: Dispatch System. Calls and units share one map, and officers step through calls with the arrow keys; responding sets a waypoint. Alerts can carry message, code, priority, vehicle, weapon and a player photo, which needs screenshot-basic and a Fivemanage token. Dispatchers drag units onto each other to form named groups, and shared drawings sit on layers you show to chosen units. Premade alerts cover shooting, gun seen, fighting, speeding, vehicle theft, injured person, the panic button and /911 calls. It runs standalone with the Badger API, or on ESX, QBCore and Qbox.
Alerts written for ps-dispatch mostly keep working; one that does not takes one addCall line.
Jail
A jail script for police custody is a different tool from a staff jail for rule breakers. Pick a custody jail by who sentences and what prisoners can do: sentencing from the police side, work for prisoners, and officers who change the time or release a prisoner without an admin.
Free default: qb-prison on QBCore; the Qbox recipe installs xt-prison. The ESX addon set has no jail.
Our script: Advanced Jail System V2. Officers sentence from a Prison MDT, opened with an item or command: they set the time, jail type, notes and cell, and can change the time or release the prisoner later. Lockup holds suspects in cells with no set time during an investigation. Group prison jobs take time off for each finished task spot. Prisoners escape with a bought explosive, by cutting through the fence once its power is off, or by digging out with sharpened utensils. Ankle monitors show a player’s location to every officer.
Limit: ox_target is the only target it supports; without it, prisoners use key prompts.
Evidence
Evidence works when you choose which actions leave it, each piece becomes an item officers collect, the analysis ties it to a person or weapon, and it is stored where the MDT can find it.
Free default: on QBCore, qb-policejob includes bullet casings, blood drops, gunshot residue and a fingerprint test. The ESX addon set and the Qbox recipe have no separate evidence resource.
Our script: Realistic Evidence System V2. Shooting, getting hurt and driving leave evidence that shows under a flashlight. Casings, fragments, bullet holes, blood and fingerprints are built in, and your other scripts add more types through exports. Police analyse evidence for DNA, weapon name and serial number, test hands for gunshot residue, and rebuild a scene with a camera that labels every piece. With Config, evidence put in a locker registers in the police MDT of All-in-one MDT V2.
Drugs
A good drug script:
- makes production a set of steps players do, not one button;
- saves plants and labs over restarts;
- alerts police through your dispatch when a sale goes wrong;
- keeps recipes, prices and shops in the config.
Free default: esx_drugs on ESX, qb-drugs and qb-weed on QBCore, qbx_drugs and qbx_weed on Qbox.
Our script: All-in-One Drug System V2. Players grow and dry weed and coca, cook and chill meth, process LSD and heroin, and pick and dry mushrooms, with a minigame on each machine. Labs are bought from the trap phone and staffed by NPC workers who process while ingredients last. Players sell to NPCs on the street, or build regular customers in the Plug app with reputation and counter-offers. Plants and equipment save over restarts, and the admin menu views and deletes them. Alerts go to Dispatch System, cd_dispatch or the built-in alerts.
Limit: some models come from a newer GTA V game build; the docs use build 3258. On an older build, update it or change those model names in the config.
Robberies and heists
Check that a robbery script alerts police through your dispatch, has cooldowns, gives loot your inventory knows, stays synced for a group, and gives players somewhere to sell the haul.
Free default: qb-houserobbery, qb-storerobbery, qb-jewelery, qb-bankrobbery and qb-truckrobbery on QBCore, and the qbx_ versions of each in the Qbox recipe. The ESX addon set has none.
Our script: Advanced House Robbery V2. Players take a job at any phone booth, or lockpick any house door if you switch booths off. Touching a laser fills the noise meter unless someone hacks the security panel. Once the meter passes its threshold, an armed homeowner wakes and may alert police. Paintings need a switchblade and safes a lockpick; televisions and microwaves are carried out to a vehicle. NPC buyers you configure take the loot, and several players can rob one house together. The default minigames use bl_ui and pd-safe, and you can change them.
For a bank-scale job, Advanced Union Depository Heist & Bank Truck Robbery (2-in-1) starts with a bank truck robbery whose paper and ink feed the depository’s money printer. In its config you choose whether alerts go to Dispatch System, ps-dispatch or one of several other dispatch scripts.
Housing
Housing starts with where interiors come from: shells or MLOs. Then players buy or rent, furnish and share access, police enter, and you add properties without a restart.
Free default: esx_property on ESX, qb-houses and qb-apartments on QBCore, qbx_properties on Qbox.
Our script: Housing System V3 & Shell Creator. Players buy, rent or take a mortgage on houses and apartments, check into motels, and furnish the house, garage and yard with 3D previews. The in-game Shell Creator builds interiors from walls, floors, doors, windows and stairs, and import and export codes move them between servers. Locks, alarms and a front door camera protect a home, while police can breach the door and lock the house down. Real-estate agents and admins add properties in game with no restart.
Limits: shells are not included; it uses a starter shell pack linked in the README by default. Building walls and floors works in custom shells, not in MLOs.
Jobs, bosses and the economy
A job with staff needs a boss to hire, grade, pay and move company money. The boss menu must work with your society or banking account and set permissions per grade.
Free default: esx_society on ESX, qb-management on QBCore, qbx_management on Qbox.
Our script: Advanced Boss Menu V2. Bosses hire, promote, demote and fire from one table, add notes and give bonuses. You set the minimum grade for each action: opening the menu, ordering, depositing, withdrawing, promoting, demoting and firing. The home page shows the company balance, the statistics page shows hours, income and expenses, and staff order job items for pickup. It works with esx_addonaccount, qb-management, qb-banking, Renewed-Banking and other banking scripts, and supports QBCore and Qbox gangs.
Limit: editing salaries in the menu works on ESX only.
Crafting gives jobs and gangs something to produce. Our Crafting script locks recipes behind blueprints or crafting XP, restricts tables to jobs, and lets players place their own tables that save over restarts.
Which fits your server
- Starting a server: run your framework’s free defaults, then replace the area your players spend most time in. The install steps are in how to install FiveM scripts.
- Police and EMS servers: the Essential plan includes Advanced Police Job, Advanced Ambulance Job, All-in-one MDT V2, Dispatch System, Advanced Jail System V2, Realistic Evidence System V2 and Advanced Boss Menu V2. Ultimate includes all current scripts and all future releases, crime and housing included. Compare both on the subscription plans page.
- One area to fill: buy that script alone from its page.
Before you add any script, open its product page and check three rows: your framework, your inventory and target, and the dispatch it alerts.
