Dispatch map of the city: a layer is picked from the layer selector, a circle is drawn on the map, and two units in the right-hand panel are joined into Group 1.

A layer is picked, a circle is drawn and two units are dragged into one group.

You can run it on ESX, QBCore and Qbox, or standalone with the Badger API. You can replace the call sound by editing PlayCallSound in the editable file. Custom maps such as Liberty City work once the map image is converted into tiles.

At a glance

  • Arrow-key call manager

Step through calls with the arrow keys; responding sets a waypoint, and keybindings change in the config.

  • Backwards compatible with ps-dispatch, qs-dispatch, cd_dispatch

Most of their alert exports keep working as they are; any alert that doesn't takes one addCall line.

  • Eight premade alerts

Shooting, gun seen, fighting, speeding, vehicle theft, injured person, panic button and /911, each set up in the config.

  • Photo, vehicle and weapon in alerts

Alerts can show code, priority, phone number, vehicle, weapon and a player photo; photos need screenshot-basic and a Fivemanage token.

  • Shared drawings on layers

Draw lines, circles, markers and polygons on layers, and choose which units can see each layer.

  • Group units by dragging

Drag units onto each other to form a named group; each unit sets its own radio, callsign and status.

Walk through the interface

Pick a task to see the screen that does it.

Step 1 of 3: Draw on the map and group units

  • All active calls with their information
  • GTA V map with the locations of other units and calls

Step 2 of 3: Move through calls with the arrow keys

  • Move through all dispatch calls with the arrow keys

Step 3 of 3: Read code, priority, street and weapon in each alert

  • Notifications show alert information in the top-right corner for a while

What Dispatch System does

Coordinate units on one map

The full map shows every active call and unit. Dispatchers manage the units, and each responder sets their own radio, callsign and status, shown beside their unit.

Keep calls on screen during patrol

The sidebar shows calls and units in less space, and new alerts appear in the top-right corner for a while. In the call manager, responders move through calls with the arrow keys and set a waypoint by responding. Keybindings change in config or in FiveM's own keybinding settings, and the I key moves the call manager.

Decide what triggers an alert

Each premade alert has its own config settings, such as whether an NPC needs line of sight to the player before it is sent. Most alerts from ps-dispatch, qs-dispatch and cd_dispatch exports arrive the same way, and any other script can add calls with the addCall export.

Call manager

  • Move through all dispatch calls with the arrow keys
  • Keybindings change in the config and FiveM keybindings; the I key moves the call manager by default
  • Responding to the current call sets a waypoint

Live map and drawings

  • All active calls with their information
  • Respond to, remove or zoom to a call
  • Manage units (for dispatchers)
  • GTA V map with the locations of other units and calls
  • Draw lines, circles, markers and polygons
  • Drawings sit on layers; create or switch layers and choose which units see each layer

Units, sidebar and notifications

  • See all active units
  • Set your own radio, callsign and status, shown next to your unit
  • Group units by dragging them onto each other, and rename groups
  • Sidebar with calls and units in a smaller view
  • Notifications show alert information in the top-right corner for a while

Alert data and premade alerts

  • Alert data: message, code, priority, gender, person, phone number, vehicle, weapon and player photo
  • Premade alerts: shooting, gun seen, fighting, speeding, vehicle theft, injured person, panic button, /911
  • Each alert has its own config, such as NPC line of sight to the player
  • Backwards compatible with ps-dispatch, qs-dispatch and cd_dispatch: most old alert exports work unchanged

Calls, sounds and custom maps

  • Other scripts add calls with the addCall export: title, jobs and blip
  • Use your own call sound by editing PlayCallSound in client/main_editable.lua
  • Liberty City or custom maps work after converting the map image into tiles

Badger API and translations

  • Runs standalone with the Badger API for Discord-role jobs
  • English, Finnish and French included, translatable

Requirements and compatibility

Optional: player photos in alerts need screenshot-basic and a Fivemanage token in config_sv.lua, and standalone servers can use the Badger API.

Questions before you buy

Does it work standalone or with Qbox?

Yes. Standalone servers use the Badger API by default, and it also supports ESX, QBCore and Qbox. Framework-specific functions and events are editable, so you can add your own framework.

Will alerts from my other scripts still work?

Most ps-dispatch, qs-dispatch and cd_dispatch alert exports keep working unchanged. For an alert that doesn’t, or one from any other script, add exports.tk_dispatch:addCall inside its police alert function.

Can sheriffs and other jobs receive calls?

Yes. The sheriff and leo jobs are in the police dispatch group by default. To add another job, add it to that group’s jobs in Config.Dispatch; alerts sent to police then reach it too.

Can I use Liberty City or a custom map?

Yes. Convert your map image into tiles (the docs use the gdal2tiles-leaflet Docker image) and replace the tiles in tk_dispatch/web/build/tiles/atlas, keeping the same folder structure.
